Private Residence

Detail of one of four panelled scagliola door recesses leading from the rotunda.

Scagliola pilasters, columns, panels, door casements and entire wall areas, for a private residence in Canada.
A total of twenty columns, eight pilasters and over twenty-four door casements were made for this project.

The green scagliola columns and pilasters were based on the scagliola columns in Charles Cameronís neo-classical Greek Hall in the imperial palace of Pavlovsk, outside St. Petersburg.

(Work carried out in association with Hayles and Howe)
