Tusmore House, Saloon

Giant fluted scagliola columns and pilasters in Siena colouring. A total of eight columns and pilasters, seven metres in height, installed in the saloon at Tusmore House, Oxfordshire. The columns were assembled in two halves around structural steel stanchions and seamed in situ. The frieze and urns are also in scagliola.
